İzmir Maritime Museum’s most important design principle is connecting the site and the building itself with a certain flow that visitors can follow through and experience the museum as a journey. Going in the museum and going around the landscape with that flow and sail/sea inspired curvy patterns are thought as a part of circulation. With the possibilty of the curved walls that used on the roof also, gives chance to have sunlight efficiently. The whole design ideas come together and serve visitors an experience that they would feel like they completed a journey.
