As the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design; we congratulate our new graduates for their successful completion of their studies and believe that they will make beneficial contributions to the society and future generations with their successful work in the light of the knowledge they have gained during their education. Especially this year; it is clear that living and working environments are gradually transforming and reshaping towards a virtual environment where animation, gaming technologies and augmented reality play a big role. With this viewpoint; virtual interiors are now a practice area not only for the game world, but also in the real world where we shop, live and interact with others on a daily basis. Many of today's leading companies are already working and developing these experiences. In line with this trend, we anticipate that today's interior designers should have the ability to combine virtual reality with the presentation of their designs along with the traditional design skills. Based on these thoughts, this year's graduation project started with a movie script where digital three-dimensional images were developed, prepared in detail with their technical aspects, and presented in the form of a video walkthrough trailer at the end of the year. With this project, our students have experienced a future-oriented approach, in the process of design interaction, communication and expressing their ideas. We wish them all the best in the realization of their lifelong dreams as Interior Architects and Environmental Designers.
