Established in 2004, IUE Faculty of Fine Arts and Design consists of Industrial Design, Visual Communication Design, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Architecture and Textile and Fashion Design departments, working in harmony and integration with each other. While completing this year with all our students and instructors, we went through extraordinary processes due to the Covid-19 outbreak. In this period when we all stay at home is very important for our personal health and public health, we have completed this challenging period by working hard with our students so that your education is not interrupted. You are now graduating from your university where you get the online education with smart systems in the best way.In this process, we renewed and delivered our Faculty courses, studio courses, exams and applied project courses in accordance with online education conditions. I hope all of you have spent these challenging days in a healthy and successful way and gained different perspectives in design.This year, together with our dear students and valuable instructors, we have prepared a digital catalog which meets the requirements of the digital age that has just begun, unlike the previous years. We present to you, a digital catalog with two-dimensional and three-dimensional images of graduation projects and videos related to projects prepared by approximately 200 students who will graduate from our faculty this year.In this digital catalog, as well as to exhibit our students’ graduation projects, we provide their portfolios to be shared simultaneously in the professional platforms in Turkey and the world. In this way, we also ensure the promotion of the works of our Faculty and our students. We have determined the theme of our exhibition and catalog this year as "New ...". With this theme, we wanted to refer to both the new stage that our graduates will start in their lives and the changes that the extraordinary conditions we are going to make in the design profession. Through the visual language of the catalog, we wanted to reflect the energetic and exciting spirit of equipped and talented designers who will join the colorful, dynamic, changing and renewed design world.On Monday, July 13th, we are opening our digital catalog to exhibit with a digital fashion show. In this way, we realize the Graduation Exhibition and Graduation Fashion Show, which we hold traditionally every year, on a brand new platform that is accessible to everyone. I congratulate all our students and alumni on behalf of the IUE Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, and wish them success in their education and professional life.
