The project is to celebrate the ‘togetherness’ between Izmir and the sea through a “Maritime Museum”: A complex with indoor and outdoor spaces facilitating activities related to the various aspects of the sea. The vision is to create a complex where the objects and documents of maritime history from past to present which can be exhibited. This complex will also include areas such as a library and cafe where visitors can work together. In the open areas of the land, there are open air exhibitions where the people can spend time.
