The sanatorium deals with soldiers who have been having hard times coping with the norms of society while they get retired. The project tries to create a space where they can easily adapt and be able to share their experiences with others. The project consists of diagrid structures and ramps as the elements for access all part of the building and even creating links from the interior to the exterior. Having them surrounded by water and animals was a deliberate solution to try to sooth them due to the healing power of water.
