The concept of the project is to bring live work and play areas together to create a hybrid art center. Izmir mostly consists of mixed buildings and as a result of that the project tried to get away from the classic and traditional idea of "shops and commercial on the ground floor, living units on the higher floors". The project's user group is Fine arts students and artists, therefore the building includes several working spaces, exhibition areas, galleries, and living units. All the living units have a 90' degree rotating workroom which the user can adjust according to natural lighting and their needs while working which creates a kinetic rhythm on the facade.
