Accessibility, Sustainability, Usage of Local Materials, Connection with the site, and İzmir being a port city. These are the 5 major aspects that I considered while designing my Maritime Center. Located in İnciraltı, it is a complex that consists of a main building, an 8m high waterfall, two pavilions and an amphitheater. Having a strong relationship with the sea was the ultimate goal of the project and the design achieves that in many ways. Distinctive architectural elements, as well as the layout plan with indoor/outdoor connections, offer a very beautiful experience for the visitors.
