While visiting the Maritime Museum, you find answers to many unknown questions about maritime, discover life at sea and take a long journey to maritime history. The project in İnciraltı, it is to provide the connection between İzmir and the history of the sea. While the breaks in the project represent the history of the maritime, you can see these breaks both in building agriculture and outside elements. There are two courtyards, exhibition areas, map library cafe and workshop areas. Designed as a combination of architecture with the history of the sea, the building is a new dimension in terms of exploring maritime and architecture.
