This guide has been prepared to minimize the unfamiliarity of the students who will start the Visual Communication Design department. The content of this guide which is prepared in alphabetical order in the form of a dictionary includes some academic words which are related to Visual Communication Design department (used a design dictionary of the website named figma.com) and also there are adviser words starting with each letter in the alphabet will be useful to a student who are studying the Visual Communication Design department at IEU for four years, and these words facilitate their work and inform them about what they might encounter. This guide will be given to the student on the first day they started the department and thanks to the academic words written in this guide, communication between students and the lecturers will be effective and faster.
