Elia is an eco-friendly village where the citizens earn their life by the agriculture of olive and commerce of its products. Visitors are welcomed to the village for both commerce and intellectual purposes. The village takes its name Elia meaning olive in greek as a reference to the ancient history of olive in mythology. The village is sustainable in a sense where it uses wind energy and the citizens cultivate most of the organic nutritions they need themselves. Main goal of Elia is to emphasize the love and respect towards nature. The population is around 500 people (300 adults and 200 children).
