Fashion encourages people to buy new clothes and throw out “old” ones. With the new trends, people change their wardrobe each season. But what happens to those pieces that are left behind is a major problem. Today this is beginning to change. Fast fashion has started to slow down. People are beginning to pay more attention to how their clothes are made. In my collection, I collected fashion leftovers which are no longer used, and reinvented them as something new. Old jackets, skirts, ribbons, sheets, bed covers, anything. Each piece in my collection is made completely from “trash”. Manipulations are created with home-produced materials. In relation to COVID-19, accessories such as fashionable facemasks are included.
