There is no passive building with low energy usage in İzmir, which has Mediterranean climate. Passive climate and low energy has been the main goal of the project. Passive building principles were followed in design and construction analysis. This center is designed for people who give education and training in medicine and pharmacy. It also provides accommodation and social life opportunities. Unlike the traditional education system, the concept of spatial design has been adopted to experiential education. It is possible to cultivate aromatic and medicinal plants used in research. This research and development center focuses on the needs of the users, but also offers common use areas with the public.
