Thallo Furniture aims to create a chair for people seeking a little peculiarity in their living room. It is a product composed with tubular steel and wool weaving. The chair’s general structure and asymmetric design contributes to its postmodern look while Thallo’s abstracted weaving pattern referring to the traditional Turkish weaving. The chair embraces rather contradicting design notions by harmonizing the postmodern design approach and the traditional Turkish weaving and this enables Thallo chair to offer an alternative design identity to domestic furniture.
